Unlock & Add

Unlock & add is a feature introduced into i2i to allow users to request for a document to be added to a subscription and for the admin of the subscription to approve, pay and apply the standards to the subscription to access for the APAC region for the following Publishers: 

  • AS
  • IEC
  • ISO
  • NSAI

 

A user can ‘Request Access’ to a document via ‘Request Access’, on the product page for the relevant document.

When a user requests a document, an email is generated and sent to you, the Admin.

Request unlock

To unlock a document, go to the document record, and click on ‘Request Access’

Review the document price, and provide either the purchase order or reference number, before submitting the unlock request. If you do not have purchase order or reference number, you can also provide cost center details or other relevant details, as reference number. These details would be mentioned on the invoice for your order.

Approve unlock request

Once the request has been submitted, the subscription administrator would be notified of the unlock request via an email.  Only the administrator has the rights to review the request and approve.

The Unlock & Add requests can be found under ‘Requests’.

The option to ‘Approve’ or ‘Reject’ a request can be found under ‘Actions’.

You can also ‘Add to Basket’ by clicking on the 3 horizontal dots and clicking ‘Add to Basket’.

Review the document details, select the contact for sending an invoice, and place the order.

This will enable the document access for the subscription instantly. An invoice would be sent to the selected contact within one business day.
