Requesting a document

i2i has a feature that allows users to request additional documents to be added to the their subscription. This feature may not be available to all user as it is only available based on the following roles; Order Requestor, Order Approver, Order Generator.

Order Requestor

Users who have the ability to request documents for purchase will have the following two roles; Price Viewer and Order Requestor. These roles allow users to view the price list on the product page and request items for purchase, they will be able to view requested items from the orders page under the request tab.

From this page users can add notes to their request to be viewed by the order approver. Users can also delete the request prior to it being approved. When the status of the request has been updated you will be able to view the changes on the request tab. Once the order has been received you will be able to download the document (if it’s a pdf) or will receive the hardcopy to the address specified.


Order Approver

The Order Approver role allows users to view the price list, request documents and approved requests from other users within their subscription.

An order approver can action requests from the request tab by selecting (…) on individual items OR bulk action items. The approver can also add notes to the request to be viewed by the order generator. When the request has either been approved or rejected the status of the request will reflect, the user who requested the item will also be notified via email of the update.


Order Generator

The Order Generator role allows the user to request, approve and place an order within a subscription. An order generator is able to action request and orders and manage contacts for the purpose of delivery.

Once an order has been placed by the order generator, it will be processed by Intertek Inform processing team.
