LexConnect / CodeConnect

LexConnect is a subscription product that allows you to see Australian Standards® that are referenced in Australian legislation. The LexConnect online service provides anywhere, anytime understanding of which Standards are referenced in which Australian commonwealth, state and territory legislation. Please note, a paid subscription is not required to view the legislation but you must sign up for a free Lawlex account.

The CodeConnect online service provides access to all codes of practice referenced in Australian legislation, as well as all Australian Standards referenced in those codes.

In the search results, documents with links to legislation or codes of practice are indicated by the ⚖ icon. These can then be accessed via ‘LexConnect – Legislation’ and ‘Code Connect – Code of Practice’.

When opening a LexConnect or Code Connect link, the links will redirect you away from the i2i site and to the Lawlex platform. In some cases, some Code Connect links, will redirect you to download the relevant Code of practice PDF.
