Request For Quote – RFQ

The Request for quote function is to allow users to request documents to be added to the subscription outside of the Unlock & Add publishers (AS, IEC, ISO and NSAI)

This function was introduced to help streamline the add document request process and improve the user experience of the i2i platform.

 

Steps

Screenshots / Description

Users will be able to search for a document and have the “Request for Quote” option available on the product screen.

When the User clicks on the “Request for Quote” button, a popup will appear for them to submit their request and add a note if required.

Once the order is submitted:

1. An email will be sent to the account administrator with the request.
2. The “Orders” tab will be updated with the request
3. The product page will show that the document has been requested.


If the Administrator approves the request, an email will be sent to the the Account manager to generate a quote.

Once the quote has been generated and approved, the Account Manager will contact the support team to process the request and the document will be added.

The Requestor and Subscription administrator will receive an email to advise the document has been added.
